This Aerospace Standard establishes the minimum safe performance standards for manifold pressure instruments, primarily for use with aircraft reciprocating engines. This Standard covers two basic types of manifold pressure instruments: Type I – Direct Indicating; Type II – Remote Indicating; comprised of separate transmitter and indicator.
